LOCTITE®Nut Lock: High resistance thread lock
LOCTITE® 271 is a red, methacrylate-based thread locker with low viscosity and high strength.
Recommended for permanent blocking of studs and bolts on engine blocks, screws or studs on rear axles and gearboxes, fixing of screws and nuts.
Fixing time on steel is 10 min, 5 min on brass and 15 min on stainless steel.
Ideal for applications where product migration should be avoided.
Tolerates light contamination by oils. Can be used on all metals.
