Motorcycle saddlebag assembly instructions

Before you begin: Check that your straps are in good condition and choose rigid anchor points (frame or footrest support). Avoid any hot or moving parts.

Assembly steps

  1. Positioning the central flange

Place the strap on the passenger seat, Velcro facing up. Center it and adjust the spacing to keep each bag away from the wheel and exhaust.

Central clamp positioned on the passenger seat, centering and adjustment of the spacing
The flange must be centered and flat.
  2. Attaching the panniers

Clipping the quick buckles (1): Insert and clip the buckle into the eyelet provided on the bag. Leave 10–15 cm of play for adjustment.

Passing through the D-ring (2): Pass the strap through the D-ring to create the anti-slip lock.

Fine adjustment (3): adjusts the sliding buckle to keep the bag horizontal.

Lower safety (4): Locks the two lower buckles to prevent flapping.

Clipping, passing through the D-ring and adjusting the height on the bag
Clips, D-ring, then sliding buckle adjustment.
  3. Anchor point on the motorcycle

Attach the lower strap to a rigid element (passenger footrest support, frame). Never to moving or hot parts (swing arm, exhaust).

Low strap attached to passenger footrest bracket
Anchoring to the footrest support: safe and accessible.
  4. Correct tension

Stretch without crushing: the bag must not move by hand, the strap must not mark the saddle.

Checking the tension of the straps on the saddle
Stable in the hand, without digging into the foam.
  5. Cross link (anti-flap) & clearance control

Connect left ↔ right under the hull/package rack with the strap provided: this prevents any lateral movement.

Keep at least 2 fingers between the bag and the tire/chain/exhaust, with the motorcycle loaded . Check the shock absorber travel.

Strap connecting both sides under the hull, release control
Cross connection and sufficient clearance = safety.
  6. Flap, load distribution & verification

Flap & Velcro: closes to protect the saddle and buckles.

Distribution: load symmetrically , heavy objects at the bottom near the saddle.

After 10 km: Re-tighten the straps. Recheck after rain or major impacts.

Overview of the mounted panniers, flap closed
Final view: clean, taut, without any parasitic contact.
